FraudPilot
Review Shopify high risk orders before you fulfill
FraudPilot is a Shopify app that puts the orders Shopify flags as medium or high risk into one review queue, with the reasons each was flagged. You record a decision on each order in one click, and the timestamped log of your decisions exports as a CSV for chargeback responses. FraudPilot never cancels orders or blocks checkouts; you complete any cancel in Shopify.

What FraudPilot does
- One review queue. The orders Shopify flags as medium or high risk, with why each was flagged.
- Order lookup. The risk details Shopify recorded for any order from the last 60 days, flagged or not.
- Card testing alert. An in-app alert when abandoned checkouts jump in a way that looks like card testing.
- One-click decisions. Approve, Cancel or Tag each order, with order details, AVS and CVV results and your earlier decisions on the same buyer beside it.
- Decision log. A timestamped log of every decision that you can export as CSV.
How it works
Shopify flags, FraudPilot queues
When Shopify rates an order medium or high risk, FraudPilot adds it to the queue with the reasons Shopify gave.
Review with context
Open an order to see why it was flagged, with order and payment details and your earlier decisions on the same buyer.
Decide and keep a record
You choose Approve, Cancel or Tag, and the decision is logged with the time, who made it and the facts you saw. Tag adds a fraudpilot-review tag to the order in Shopify, once you approve order access; Approve and Cancel are recorded in FraudPilot only.
Who it's for
Shopify merchants who see orders flagged medium or high risk and want to check them before they ship, and who want a record of each decision to use as chargeback evidence. It isn't for stores that want fraud blocked automatically.
Common questions
Does FraudPilot cancel orders for me?
No. Approve and Cancel are recorded in FraudPilot's log, and you cancel the order in Shopify yourself. FraudPilot never cancels orders or blocks checkouts.
Does it replace Shopify's fraud analysis?
No. FraudPilot works from the risk assessment Shopify already makes. It doesn't run its own fraud detection or change how Shopify rates orders; it sorts flagged orders using the facts Shopify gives it.
What does a decision change in Shopify?
Approve and Cancel change nothing on the order. Tag adds a fraudpilot-review tag, which a Shopify Flow rule or your fulfillment partner can use to hold the order.
Can I use FraudPilot for chargebacks?
The decision log records when each call was made, who made it, your reason and the risk facts you saw at the time. You can export it as CSV for your chargeback response. FraudPilot doesn't file disputes, and no log guarantees the outcome.
Does it help with card testing?
It shows an in-app alert when abandoned checkouts jump in a way that looks like card testing, so you can act early. It's a warning, not a block, and it reads only the time, the total and the first product name of each checkout.
